PBE has a strong community of volunteers. There are many ways for you to get involved, and it’s a great way to meet other parents, students, and teachers. No experience is needed! There are volunteer opportunities suited for everyone, and every position includes training and support from the FOPBE team. Some volunteer opportunities require as little as 10 minutes of your time per week, and all of them have a huge impact on our students and school! FOPBE POSITIONS – We are currently recruiting for the following volunteer roles:
- Director of Corporate Sponsorships
- Yearbook Coordinator
- See’s Candies Fundraiser Coordinator (Dec)
- PB Holiday Parade Coordinator (12/9)
- Family Dance Committee (Jan)
- Community Service Event Coordinator
- Volunteer Accountant/Certified Tax Preparer
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES: We also have ongoing and one-time volunteer opportunities throughout the year. You can lend a hand at any/all FOPBE-organized events and activities such as: Pizza Wednesdays, Jogging Club, STEAM Night, Halloween Carnival, Missoula Children’s Theater, Scholastic Book Fair, Penguin Dash (jogathon), Variety Show, Auction Committee, Family Events & Parent Events. We will be using Konstella for volunteer sign-ups, so make sure to get registered!
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS: To become an approved volunteer, you must provide the following…
- SDUSD Volunteer Application & Code of Conduct (must be completed each school year)
- Copy of Driver’s License (good until expired)
- Proof of Negative TB test (good for 4 years)
