This morning, our FOPBE co-presidents gratefully a

This morning, our FOPBE co-presidents gratefully accepted a check in the amount of $5,662.65 from the Mission Bay Real Estate Association (MBREA) at the Mission Bay Yacht Club. The funds were raised during MBREA's 22nd Annual Don Brown Links for Learning charity golf tournament fundraiser event, which is an event that raises money for each of the public elementary schools in Pacific Beach.

This year, the annual golf tournament raised a record breaking total. Our co-presidents were honored to accept the check on the behalf of Pacific Beach Elementary and were invited to share a few comments about the impact this wonderful organization has on our school and the projects and activities that are funded with the donation. We're so appreciative for the continued support from MBREA!

Join PBE at Plunge San Diego on Thursday, December 7th for a fun afternoon with family and friends!

Get your tickets in advance, NOW through 12/6 on Konstella (link in bio), for $22. Or you can purchase tickets at the door for $25 on the day of the event, 12/7. Non-swimmers and children 2 and under will need a $5 ticket to enter the facility.

Passes are good ALL DAY, so parents can come for laps and a sauna while the kids are at school, and then return with the kids for the pool, games and the FAMOUS obstacle course!

Coordinate with your friends to meet up in the afternoon/evening. Plunge SD is open until 7 PM, and PBE will have a reserved poolside lounge area.

This is a wonderful opportunity to fundraise for our school, as Plunge SD will donate a portion of proceeds back to FOPBE!

That's a wrap on PBE's production of Missoula Thea

That's a wrap on PBE's production of Missoula Theater's Blackbeard The Pirate!

Our PBE students had the best week auditioning, rehearsing, and then putting on this fun play! Sixty of our very own student performers auditioned Monday, then rehearsed every day after school this past week to perfect their performance for Saturday. If you were able to watch the performances, you likely caught our students acting, singing and dancing their little hearts out.

It was not an easy feat, but our student performers entertained our community in TWO stellar performances on Saturday! So much work was put into this past week and we have so many people to thank including our students; Missoula Children's Theater, especially Joe and Carlyle who made this production come to life; all of our parent and family volunteers for their commitment throughout the week to support their children and the success of this production; our host families, the Robinson's and MacDonald's for housing our Missoula friends; our PBE custodian, Anthony; and Kendra Wilbur and Lindsey Wright, our 2023 FOPBE Missoula leads! The incredible commitment, organization and efforts of these two ladies helped make this production possible.

We want to thank our entire community for supporting this production. Thanks to the donations we receive throughout the year to FOPBE, as well as those who came to watch these performances and enjoy the Snack Shack, we're able to provide this unique and amazing Missoula Children's Theater opportunity at PBE!

It's time for our annual See's Candies Fundraiser, and we're excited to announce that this year, we're doing it ONLINE!

No more going door to door, ordering using paper order forms, or writing and collecting checks.
