The newest members of the PBE family have officially joined us!🐧
We loved welcoming our incoming TK, Kindergarten, and new-to-PBE students during Orientation, then celebrating together at our FOPBE Popsicle Party! 🍦✨

It was a big week at PBE as our teachers and staff

It was a big week at PBE as our teachers and staff returned to campus to kick off the new school year! 💙🐧
The week began with a fun team-building Zumba class, followed by a relaxing sound healing session and an awe walk—a wonderful way to reconnect before welcoming our students back.
A special thank you to our newest FOPBE Corporate Sponsor, Mission Bagels, for generously providing breakfast to fuel the festivities! 🥯
Today, PBE held its official all-staff meeting, with another delicious breakfast provided by FOPBE from Popup Bagels.
We can't wait to welcome our amazing Penguins back to campus on Monday, August 10th for an incredible 2026–2027 school year! 📚✨

Whether you're new to PBE or a returning family, this is a great opportunity to meet new friends, reconnect after summer, and celebrate the start of an amazing school year together.

If your student is starting TK, Kindergarten, or is new to Pacific Beach Elementary, join us for our PBE Orientation on Friday, August 7th at 1 PM in the multipurpose room.
Come meet Principal Schnitzer and our TK/K teachers, visit your child's classroom, take a self-guided campus tour, learn more about FOPBE (our PTO), discover volunteer opportunities, and pick up some PBE spirit wear!
🍦 Stick around after orientation for a fun Popsicle Party—a sweet way for students and families to meet new friends before the first day of school!
